Leilani is a board-certified athletic trainer entering into her 1st season at Cal State Dominguez Hills. As a Redondo Beach native and CSUDH alumna, Leilani is excited to be back on campus. Leilani earned a degree in Kinesiology from CSU Dominguez Hills while also playing Division II Volleyball. She furthered her education by receiving a Master’s degree in Athletic Training from Azusa Pacific University. Leilani has worked with a number of professional and tactical organizations including the USOPC, USA Water Polo, AVP Tour, International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Navy SEALs where she learned many useful skills that can be implemented here to help CSUDH athletes succeed both physically and mentally.
Prior to coming on board with Toro Athletics, she was an athletic trainer at Redondo Union High School and Santa Ana College. She is excited to be able to continue her athletic training career at CSUDH and is eager to step in and help athletes perform at their highest level.
