What is SAAC?
The Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) is a student run organization that gives student-athletes a venue to express their needs and concerns about their overall well-being, and provides the opportunity to initiate and impact future improvements within the Athletic Department. The SAAC consists of at least one representative from each CSUDH athletic team and a staff member who provides guidance and administrative support for the council. Members of SAAC organize a wide variety of community service projects each semester. The SAAC also arranges several activities to promote student-athlete unity, including student-athlete social events and support of CSUDH's athletic teams. Student-athletes who would like to get involved with SAAC should contact their coach or team SAAC representatives.
Mission
The mission of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to enhance the total student-athlete experience at Cal State Dominguez Hills by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete welfare, maintaining athletic integrity, acting as a liaison between student-athletes and the administrations, and fostering a positive student-athlete image.
