4x400 Relay Team Hits Provisional and New Season Best

TURLOCK--The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's track and field team competed in Cal State Stanislaus' last chance qualifying twilight meet en route to a 4x400 relay season best as well as hitting a new provisional qualifying mark of 3:45.56.

The relay team consisting of Dora Baldwin, Breionna Jackson, Monikkia White, and Charlene Brown finished second overall behind the meet host Cal State Stanislaus. 

CSUDH was just shy of hitting another "B" mark in the 4x100, but finished with a time of 47.68.

Other results included a third and fourth place finish in the 100 meter dash by Jackson and White, White with a finish of 11.96 and Jackson at 12.63.

Brown was the only Toro to compete in the 400 meter dash, finishing second with a time of 56.53. 

In the field events Aunjanae Stovall and Jacqueline Ford looked to improve their season bests.  Stovall hit a distance of 42.98 meters.  Ford cleared 1.60m in the high jump, matching her season best.

The Toros will be traveling back to Southern California to compete in their final last chance qualifier Saturday afternoon, hosted by Cal State L.A.
