TSN to Broadcast NCAA Super Regional Series Against Defending NCAA Champion UCSD

CARSON -- The Toro Sports Network will broadcast the NCAA Super Regional softball series between No. 24 and defending NCAA Champion UC San Diego and No. 10 Cal State Dominguez Hills from Toro Diamond in Carson. The winner of the best of three games will advance to the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament next week in Louisville, Kentucky.

The UC San Diego Tritons are the defending NCAA Division II national champion as well as the CCAA Tournament Champions, and the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros are the No. 1 seed in the NCAA West Region and the CCAA regular season Co-Champions.

The series schedule has the opener set for 12 noon Friday. The second contest is 11 a.m. Saturday followed by the deciding third game at 1:30 p.m. if necessary.

Coverage online at www.GoToros.com/Live begins at 11:30 a.m. Friday with "The NCAA Super Regional Today" previewing the series and counting down to the first pitch. The pre-game show for the second match-up of the weekend starts at 10:45 Saturday morning.
