Chanel Parker Hits Another "B" Mark in Hurdles Specialty


FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Senior five-time All-American Chanel Parker did it again, winning her heat in the 60 meter hurdles and hitting yet another provisional mark at the NAU Invitational in Flagstaff on Saturday.

Other opponents faced were Division I Arizona State, University of Arizona, Cal State Bakersfield along with Division III University of La Verne.

Parker finished first in her heat en route to her "B" mark of 8:71 to qualify her for the final race, where she finished fourth, but cut down her mark down to a time of 8:62 in the finals.

Parker along with teammates Breionna Jackson, Dora Baldwin, and Charlene Brown also hit a "B" mark in the 4x400 Relay with a time of 3:52.16, an improvement from their 4:01.86 finish at the Run For The Dream meet at Fresno State on Jan.20.
