CARSON -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills soccer programs hosted the 18th Annual Travis Jackson 6-A-Side Tournament on June 26th and 27th at the Home Depot Center, located on the campus of Cal State Dominguez Hills. Click on the above link for all the results!
This tournament, formerly known as the "South Bay 6-A-Side" when hosted by South Torrance High School, was renamed in 2001 after the passing of Travis Jackson in 2000.
Jackson, a 1999 graduate of South Torrance where he was an All-CIF Goal Keeper for the Spartans, attended L.A. Harbor Junior College and was on track to transfer to Cal State Dominguez Hills when his life tragically was taken in a car accident.
The 6-A-SIDE tournament is a fun and high-scoring event, enjoyed by players, coaches and parents alike. The spirited atmosphere of the tournament is geared toward mirroring the way Travis lived his life.
