IRVINE -- A sophomore used the day of competition wisely at the annual Steve Scott Invitational hosted by UC Irvine to set a personal career as
Dora Baldwin posted a 24.88 finish in the 200m Dash to grab the No. 16 position, the Toros' highlight of competition.
With her previous best time of 24.96 seconds posted at the 2010 Pomona Pitzer Invitational, Baldwin narrowly bested her former personal best, earning 16th place.
Top Toro honors in the 200m dash went to
Monikkia White with a 14th place finish at 24.79 seconds.
White was also the star of the 100m dash, besting all other NCAA competitors in any division.
