Toros' Relay Team Uses Last Chance to Shine to Set New CSUDH Record

Breionna Jackson helped pace her 4x100 squad to the best finish in CSUDH history

LOS ANGELES -- Taking their best shot at a last chance in lowering times before the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships next week, the Cal State Dominguez Hills track & field squad was on fire, setting a new CSUDH record in the 4x100 relay team with a time of 46.09, second in the event at Cal State L.A.'s Last Chance Qualifier.

Comprised of Chanel Parker, Dora Baldwin, Monikkia White and Breionna Jackson, the team lowered their previous 2010 mark of 46.45 to set not only the new CSUDH all-time low but also grab another NCAA provisional qualifying time in the event.

Parker took top nod in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.99, besting her previous 2010 season best by a margin of .01-seconds.

Complete Toro Results:
Parker: 100m Dash (12.43, 3rd), 100m Hurdles (13.99, 1st)
