"The Mid-Week Peaks" - A Look at the Toros in the NCAA National Rakings - 4/29/09

Carson, CA -- In week four of "The Mid-Week Peaks", the Toros saw the baseball team pull a sweep of Cal State Monterey Bay on senior day to only boost their rankings while the softball team suffered heart-breaking losses on the road in a potential end to their 2009 season.

Overall, CSUDH athletics has seven student-athletes ranked in the top-30 representing 23 different marks in the NCAA D-II statistical rankings. Baseball standout #Jon Alia# still stands as the outright leader in the rankings, with his name in 11 different categories. As the seasons of softball, baseball and track & field drive towards post-season play, the Toros have the base to represent CSUDH well in all three sports in championship play.
