KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Senior Kevin Gallaugher made it a perfect 3-for-3 with his third overall and second-consecutive Daktronics 1st-team All-American selection, giving the reigning NSCAA Player of the Year 5 All-America awards in 5 opportunities, with the NSCAA All-America honors to be announced later this month.

Senior teammate Andrew Marinez earned his first-career All-America honor with a 3rd-team selection.

Gallaugher had another stellar season in his final campaign in Carson, helping lead the Toros to 11 shutouts in their 18 wins on the year, including two in the NCAA West Regional and in 6 of the last 9 contests.  The now five-time All-American also sits third on the team in goals with 6, converting on 5-of-6 penalty kicks attempted en route to 3 game-winning scores.

Marinez, who was named to the 1st-team All-CCAA prior to the league tournament, currently sits second with 9 goals this season, also adding a team-best 7 assists.  The Santa Monica native has 4 game winners, including two consecutive to close the regular season and to open the men's first CCAA tournament semifinal.

The defending NCAA national champions saw their 2009 campaign come to an end in a 1-0 loss at top-ranked and undefeated Fort Lewis College in the NCAA quarterfinal match-up on November 22, the second time in five years the Skyhawks have ushered the Toros out of the NCAA postseason in a final eight pairing.

Gallaugher and Marinez were the only CCAA players selected to any of the four All-America squads.

CSUDH, which claimed both the CCAA Championship and West Region Title, finished its 2009 campaign with an 18-6-1 ledger.
