CSUDH Sports Information’s Brendan Dally Earns CoSIDA Best Cover Award for 2007-08 Women’s Basketball Media Guide

Carson, CA -- The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has awarded the Cal State Dominguez Hills 2007-08 women’s basketball media guide its “Best Cover” recipient, it was announced by CoSIDA. The cover, designed exclusively by CSUDH Sports Information’s Brendan Dally, was the first such entry to win an award in CSUDH’s storied sports information history.
Highlighting 10 returning players, led by two who earned All-CCAA Conference honors, from a team that lost just one senior after the Toros qualified for the NCAA postseason in 2006-07, the action photos are crafted as pieces of a puzzle being “in place ... for another championship run.” The cover, which included cover entries from CoSIDA media guide powers Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and Washburn University, earned the honor over 31 other Division II entries from across the nation including runner-up University of North Dakota.
“This is a very well-deserved honor for Brendan,” begins Mel Miranda, CSUDH Assistant Athletics Director / Media Relations. “He’s a great talent, and this effort is indicative of the type of work he puts forth daily, not only for sports information, but for the entire Athletics Department as well."
