Kevin Ritter Tied for 15th Place to Lead Toros at Elco, Inc. Intercollegiate After Day One

Bakersfield, CA -- Junior transfer Kevin Ritter fired a 7-over par 151 over the first two rounds of the Elco, Inc. intercollegiate this afternoon, tying him for 15th place amongst 27 non-Division I golfers competing in the Cal State Bakersfield-hosted Invitational.
The Oceanside native enjoyed his best effort in round two as he was two strokes off par with his 74, giving him the low score on the day for the Toro contingent.
Individually, Point Loma Nazarene's Brandan Kelly and Chico State's Ryan Trask lead the way with respective -3 and -2 scores, while the WIldcats fired a collective 3-over par as a team to head into tomorrow's final round with a 5-stroke lead.
The Toros, meanwhile, finished day one in 5th place of 5 teams competing.
